The Story Behind the Studio
We are building a creative studio that allows us to do meaningful work. We believe design should be purposeful, people-first, and rooted in collaboration and integrity.
Daywell was born out of a simple idea: wanting to spend our days well.
Work should fit around your life, not the other way around. That’s why we built Daywell, and it’s how we work with clients. We design brands that are functional, beautiful, and built to last. That means one less thing on your to-do list and more room for the part of your business you actually love. Hand us the design work so you can get back to spending your days well.
How Tori spends her days well:
Taking a long weekend trip or hitting the slopes with her husband, Bryan
Sipping an iced chai, a Dr Pepper or a watermelon Poppi
Jamming to a playlist that includes Taylor Swift
Cheering on allllll the Kansas City sports teams
Plotting her future appearance on Survivor
Making progress on her Goodreads TBR list
Baking a sweet treat, just because!!
Lover of bright colors but don’t make her pick a favorite!
How Katelyn spends her days well:
Putting together a homegrown flower bouquet
Sipping an Old Fashioned with her husband, Jerod
Perfecting her peekaboo game with her one-year-old, Emma
Winding down with an evening episode of The Office or Gilmore Girls
Cozying up with her cat, Grace
Listening to country radio and solving a word search
Cooking a new recipe for dinner
Type “90s Butter Mom” into Pinterest and you’ll catch her vibe!
Tori and Katelyn met as coworkers at their first corporate job out of college. From there, we became besties, roommates, bridesmaids in each others weddings, aaaand now we’re back to working together! This time as co-founders of Daywell Creative!
The idea began at Tori's kitchen table. Tori was working her fourth corporate role in four years, and Katelyn was pregnant with her daughter. We were both feeling a bit stuck in the daily corporate shuffle and thinking about what we really wanted for our futures. We loved creating, we just weren't loving 40 hours a week behind a desk.
So Tori said it out loud– "What if we tried to start our own design business?" And the rest, as they say, is history.
As we built Daywell, it was that simple idea that stuck: what if our days could truly feel well spent, not just full? We believe it's no coincidence that we first met as coworkers, and it's been a joy to find our way back to working together.

Our Values
We're not here to hand off a file and disappear. We're here to collaborate: to listen, ask good questions, and treat every client relationship like the real partnership it is.
Strategy-led design
We don't start with a mood board. We start with questions. Who are you, who are you talking to, and what do you want them to feel? Every design decision traces back to an answer, which is why the work actually holds up.
Build to last
Trends fade. Good branding shouldn't. We design with a five-year view, not a five-month one, so the work you invest in still feels right long after the trend cycle moves on.
Full days, not frantic ones
Daywell was built on the idea that good work and a good pace aren't in conflict. We move with intention, not urgency for urgency's sake. That calm shows up in how we treat clients, too.
Lead with grace
Feedback, deadlines, and hard conversations are part of the process. We just don't think they have to be harsh. We move through the work with patience and care, for our clients and each other.
Partnership rooted in kindness
We treat clients like people, because that's what they are. That means real conversations, honest feedback, and work that reflects who you actually are, not just what's on trend.
